Parent Conference Night

Invitations sent out to Principal, Faculty, and entire staff of MS 22 to the 2nd annual thanksgiving dinner in appreciation of all they do for our children.  On November 20th parent conferences or as only 22 calls them Advisor Caregiver Conferences were held from 1-3 pm and 5-7:30 pm.  An extremely long day for educators as they prepare to receive 400+ families to discuss their child's progress and ask caregiver's to share their hopes and dreams for their children and ask them how can we help to make it better. We are happy to see our families however can be overwhelming to hear how they face everyday challenges of just meeting the basic necessities. During this day educators have a much needed 2 hour break from 3-5pm to regroup and do it again for caregivers coming 5-7:30 p.m. MBK created an ambiance filled with decor, comfort, peace, plenty of food and most importantly serving with a smile.  They ate, laughed aloud, ate, laughed louder, and left with smiles and got a second wind to greet arrival of families for second shift.  "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them."  Hebrews 6:10
